Outdoor 2026 Programs - Open on February 1

ASTRA Soccer Academy offers full-time and part-time programs for under-5 to under-19 players in Saskatoon and surrounding areas.  This outdoor, we are happy to be offering programs for grassroots players(U4-U7), Developmental and Skill Centre (U9-U11), Training Pathway (U13-U15), and Performance Pathway (U13-U19) Streams.

Program Overview:

  • Under 7 (2019/2020 born) - Grassroots Pathway - 2x per week - 45 minute sessions - ASTRA in-house League - May/June - UMEA #6 Field

  • Under 9 (2017/2018 born) - Developmental Pathway - 2x per week - 60 minute sessions - ASTRA in-house League - May/June - UMEA #6 Field

  • Under 9 (2017/2018 born) - Skill Centre Pathway - 3x per week - 60 minute sessions - ASTRA in-house League + Tournaments - April to June - UMEA #6 Field

  • Under 11 (2015/2016 born) - Developmental Pathway - 2x per week - 75 minute sessions - ASTRA in-house League - May/June - UMEA #6 Field

  • Under 11 (2015/2016 born) - Skill Centre Pathway - 3x per week - 75 minute sessions - ASTRA in-house League + Tournaments - April to June - UMEA #6 Field

  • Under 13 (2013/2014 born) - Training Pathway - 2x per week - 75 minute sessions - No Matches (Training Only) - May/June - No tryouts - UMEA #6 Field

  • Under 13 (2013/2014 born) - Performance Pathway - 3x per week - 75/90 minute sessions - Tournaments + PSL - October - July - Tryouts in August, 2025 - UMEA #5 Field

  • Under 15 (2011/2012 born) - Training Pathway - 2x per week - 75 minute sessions - No Matches (Training Only) - May/June - No tryouts - UMEA #6 Field

  • Under 15 (2011/2012 born) - Performance Pathway - 4x per week - 90 minute sessions - Tournaments + PSL - October - July - Tryouts in August, 2025 - UMEA #5 Field

  • Under 17/19 (2007-2010) - University Preparation Program - 4x per week - 90 minute sessions - Tournaments + PSL/Saskatoon Adult Shield - October - July - Tryouts in August 2025 - UMEA #5 Field

    * Programs highlighted in RED started in October, 2025 and are only accessible by formal trial. Please contact info@astrasoccer.ca to schedule a trial.

  • Registration opens February 1st
  • Early-bird Registration Timeline: February 1st - 28th (discounted rate) 
  • Registration Deadline: March 31st (late fees apply after this date)

July 2026 Programs

This short 1-month training program is a great way to keep up with your skills during the summer or to try ASTRA in preparation for our Fall 2026 season. Please note that boys and girls will train in their own separate groups unless the total number of participants in either gender is less than 12.

U7 - Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30pm-6:15pm at UMEA #6 Field (July 6,8,13,15,20,22,27,29) - $100
U9 - Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30pm-7:30pm at UMEA #6 Field (July 6,8,13,15,20,22,27,29)  - $135
U11 - Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:15pm-7:30pm at UMEA #6 Field (July 7,9,14,16,21,23,28,30) - $165
