Athlete Assistance Program (U13+ Programs)

The Athlete Assistance Program (AAP) is a program of financial assistance provided by the Saskatchewan Soccer Association (SSA). The goal of the AAP is to provide identified high performance soccer players with financial support to assist in their continued development and ensure high performance programming is as accessible as possible to talented and dedicated athletes with financial barriers to participation. ASTRA Soccer Academy matches the amount granted by the SSA to each successful candidate.

The intent of the AAP is to provide support to athletes in the Training to Train and Training to Compete stages of the Long Term Player Development (LTPD) Model within the SSA High Performance Stream, who are participating in High Performance Stream competitions such as the High Performance Showcase League, Multi-Sport Games, or training in the SSA Regional Excel Centre (REX), or a SSA-sanctioned High Performance Training Centres (HPTC's), or Dedicated Player Programs (DPP's).

Canadian Tire JumpStart Program (All Programs)

Giving kids the opportunity to access sport and play is essential for their growth and development, which is why Jumpstart funds a variety of different sports and activities all with the goal of giving all kids the chance to discover their passion.

KidSport Program (All Programs)

KidSport is a children’s charity which assists children of families facing financial obstacles to participate in community sport programs so that all kids can play. The goal of KidSport is to provide these children with the opportunity to achieve physical, social, intellectual and moral development through participation in sport. If all children have the opportunity to play, learn self-respect, gain self-confidence, adopt active and healthy lifestyles, and realize dreams through sport, then these children may have a better chance of becoming contributing members and leaders in our communities.

HelpOne Foundation (All Programs)

Many organizations counsel, offer activities and provide financial support for kids, yet many young people have needs that don't fit the terms of these programs. Help One fills this gap by providing modest grants to make sure it isn’t a few dollars that prevents a great kid from achieving their potential.

Please note that HelpOne requires the child to fill out the application form. The belief is that by kids asking for help they understand that a gift was received, and in return give back to their community

Multiple Family Registrations Program
